The birds of prey are often spread in the coastal and continental part of the Balkans. Our specialists know the best locations.
Our daytrips try to bring you to places which are famous, but do their best to show you what you want to see and what you would not think of seeing by yourself. We do try to add the chilly pepper that makes them real unique sustainable experiences instead of ordinary tourist packages.

The Bird Watching Tour

Description

In Winter, Spring and Fall Albania becomes paradise for both birds and bird-lovers. We’re offering a day tour to bring you to some of Albania’s best bird-watching areas. Drop us an email to give us more details about when you are coming and how many people are in your group! Depending on the season and where the higher activity of birds is, we will adapt this day according to your needs. Unlike the other ones, this tour needs to start early morning and we really mean that! Please note that we have a multi-day birdwatching tour as well.  Also remember that these tours are just teasers and we can customize them according to your timing (of course we can design a multi-day weekend or tour), physical ability, interest, budget and period of the year!

Itinerary
  • We’ll pick you up at your hotel at the latest 0700 (we might leave earlier.) Next, we’ll drive to the Lagoon of Karavasta (or an alternative place according to the season and where birding activity might be best.) We’ll meet our local guide (in some cases an ornithologist, the park ranger or another properly trained professional.)
  • We will walk and spend the day in the visited area trying to combine nature, history and some of the local food. We’ll have a set menu lunch in a specially selected family restaurant.
  • Bird-watching until sunset. Drive back to your Tirana hotel (about 1h30′ drive from Karavasta.)
Price and information
Payment Options: We accept bank transfers, PayPal and we have a debit terminal/POS available at our  office in order to accept Debit, VISA and Mastercard payments (please keep in mind that 5% of the total will be added for the latter option.)  We can also accept cash payments where applicable.

Price will include:

All transfers in AC car (van or minivan) with professional guide and driver.

Entrance fee in park.

Lunch (set menu not including drinks.) In some areas and occasions we might prepare a picnic lunch.

VAT tax

Price will not include:

Travel  or health insurances.

Gear.

Allowances to guides and waiters.

Anything not mentioned above.
